• Every Drop of Diamond is Creating Opportunities

When we set out to create our Puremade Diamond Syrup for our 100th anniversary, we knew it had to be special. Less than 0.5% of companies cross this milestone. Even fewer do so with bold vision for how they will make a positive impact in their communities moving ahead. Torani Puremade Diamond Syrup became a platform for us to do something bigger and more impactful.

We committed 100% of Diamond’s profits to organizations across the country that are creating job opportunities for people who need them most.  Torani knows the life-changing power of a good job --- one with opportunities to learn, grow, and build economic mobility. I’ve been part of the team for decades and seen Torani’s front-line jobs in manufacturing and distribution transform the lives of so many team members.  These good jobs can build a future someone might have once thought was out of their reach.

    How You Can Join In

Creating real opportunity takes the support of a community. Businesses, nonprofits, governments, and individuals all have a role to play. If you’re wondering how to help, here are a few ideas:
    • Learn about and support these amazing nonprofits or others in your community.
    • Volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word about their work.
    • Buy a bottle of Torani Diamond Syrup, knowing 100% of its profits fund the next grant.
    • If you’re in a position to hire, consider how you might open the door to someone who might not have had an opportunity.

    Opportunity Youth:

Juma Ventures (Seattle, Sacramento, LA, Bay Area) operates businesses with the purpose of employing young people who are at risk of disconnection from school and work.
New Door Ventures (San Francisco Bay Area) provides programs for young people to secure long-term employment that offers independence and economic mobility.
Success Centers (San Francisco Bay Area) helps young people build career pathways to job opportunities in high-demand industries.

    Justice-Impacted Individuals:

Café Momentum (Dallas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta) equips justice-involved youth with life skills, education, and employment at its award-winning restaurants.
Old Skool Cafe (San Francisco) employs young people in every aspect of its restaurant, offering a powerful alternative to cycles of poverty and incarceration.
The Bridge Café (San Luis Obispo, CA) provides education and employment for justice-impacted individuals at their community café.

    Adults with Intellectual Disabilities:

Bridges from School to Work (10 cities across the country) supports young adults with disabilities and connects them with businesses seeking capable workers.
East Bay Innovations (San Francisco Bay Area) supports individuals with disabilities to live independently, work in jobs they choose, and be part of their community.
Esteamed Coffee (Cary, NC) creates jobs and social opportunities at their inspiring café for adults with intellectual, developmental, and communication disabilities.
    • Miller’s Crew (Fayetteville, NC) offers job training, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Torani is proud to craft not only vibrant, one-of-a-kind flavors, but also meaningful opportunities. Our 100-year anniversary and the debut of Diamond stand as milestones in our journey of creating pathways for those who need them most. As we look ahead, we’re excited to imagine what the next century of flavor and opportunity will bring.
